Christina Camardese Savage passed away on January 27, 2009 after a courageous ten year battle with cancer. Christinas Garden was created in August of 2009 to honor the memory of Christina, whose strength, courage, humor and love for life inspired so many.
about us
Christina's Garden is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To assist cancer patients and their families on a national level, Christinas Garden has developed a free cancer care website called ManageCancer.org. The website provides cancer patients and their loved ones with information and links to valuable resources, including organizations that provide financial assistance, support services, organizational tools and tips for loved ones to help. There are many resources available to cancer patients. However, these resources are sometimes difficult to find. ManageCancer provides easy access to these resources so that those in need can take full advantage of what is available to them.
ChristinasGarden.org is currently under development. This site will provide cancer patients with resources that are available in the Youngstown, Ohio area. We are also working with another local organization to create a cancer wellness center here in Youngstown. The center will provide free services for cancer patients including a resource library, counseling, yoga, massage and much more.
